Product Description
The low profile mount MF602B is compatible with LED, LCD, Plasma TVs and other flat panel displays measuring between 32 and 55 inches. Supports all VESA mounting standards up to 680x400 and many odd size mounting patterns (mounting holes on the rear of the TV or panel should be no more than 26.7" inches horizontally and up to 16" vertically). The over 6 lbs sturdy steel construction offers up to 165 lbs loading capacity. The open wall plate design get the cables routing while its low-profile design places the TV nearly flush to the wall for a clean appearance. The 27.68" wide wall plate will support two stud installation for studs up to 24-Inch apart (most US homes have studs which are 16-Inch apart). Security screws hold TV securely in the wall plate. Standard mounting hardware, free high speed HDMI Cable and 6" 3-Axis Magnetic Bubble Level included. While there is no tilt feature, I don't need one and so I am fine with it. For the price... IT'S A STEAL! Very inexpensive, but extremely solid product. Can't believe how easy it was to install either, considering some companies charge $170 to mount a TV nowadays. All it takes is 4 (sizable) screws into your wall studs, 4 smaller screws into the VESA mount on your TV, two more to secure it once the bracket is hung, and that screen is up there SOLID. The first, on an unobstructed wall, was a snap. The hardest part was finding wall studs. Tightening the locking screws was a little difficult, but not bad. The mount is sturdy, simple, and functional. I had no problems with the mounting screws, did not need spacers, and found the attached level as accurate as my own (or as accurate as my workmanship.) The second installation was in a cabinet alcove built into my new house. Everything went as before, until it came time to tighten the locking screws. The bottom of the TV is only about 4 inches above the cabinet below, the sides are obstructed by other cabinetry, and, of course, the low-profile mount puts the TV only about 1 1/2 inches from the wall. So far, I have found no way to reach the locking screws. (I am not too worried about this; I think only an earthquake will bring it down without being locked.)If you are mounting this on a readily accessible wall, give it 5 gold stars... Read more |
